The Santa Barbara collection is crafted from Mindi solids and veneers. This wood specie is very similar to American Oak. It features a rich Sable finish, solid wood drawer boxes with English dovetail, and bentwood panels on head and footboards. Frames are constructed from solid wood and corner blocked to ensure rigidity.

MFI carefully selects all the material used in each product, ensuring consistency, quality and a premium finish. A comprehensive Quality Assurance program is in place at the factory whose primary objective is to make certain that their products meet all the high standards set for their furniture.
Their beds are constructed of 100% kiln dried hardwood. This ensures strength and longevity. The tropical hardwoods used in the beds are indigenous to Indonesia. Tropical mahogany has a tight grain and is similar to American Cherry, varying in reds and browns in its natural state and is used in the majority of their products. Mindi is similar to American Oak and is used in the Santa Barbara and Nevis Collections.
We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.
