MFI carefully selects all the material used in each product, ensuring consistency, quality and a premium finish. A comprehensive Quality Assurance program is in place at the factory whose primary objective is to make certain that their products meet all the high standards set for their furniture.
Their beds are constructed of 100% kiln dried hardwood. This ensures strength and longevity. The tropical hardwoods used in the beds are indigenous to Indonesia. Tropical mahogany has a tight grain and is similar to American Cherry, varying in reds and browns in its natural state and is used in the majority of their products. Mindi is similar to American Oak and is used in the Santa Barbara and Nevis Collections.

Truck Delivery (Free!):
- Delivery to: The delivery truck will park in front of your home, and you are responsible for receiving the product from the truck. If you are ordering a large item, please note that you may need a couple of people to help unload it and carry it inside.
- Assembly Service: None
- Packaging: The product will be left in the original packaging.
- Most truck delivery companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you your tracking information, you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

I bought this bed several years ago. It is very attractive, looks a lot like real leather. The color is great. It is easy to assemble although I have moved several times since I bought it and each time it has become more and more difficult to keep together. Where the screws enter the wood has become stripped causing them to just pull out. I tried adjusting it slightly and drilled new holes but even with pre-drilled holes, had a problem with the wood splitting. Also keep in mind the depth of the mattress you will be using. This is pictured with a thin mattress. I have a thick, pillow top mattress and it comes to just about the top of the footboard. All in all the bed is great. If you are someone that doesn't own a house and may be moving frequently, you might want to double think it though.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The bed is beautiful, elegant and just what we had looked for at many stores. The price was great. It arrived sooner than expected and customer service kept my eager husband informed with courtesy. The bed was relatively simple to put together. Although due to the design of headboard and footboard feet, it took several attempts to get the feet put on correctly. As well, the predrill holes on the headboard and footboard did not fit the screws that were supplied. I had to drill new holes. Once the bed was up, it was an attractive addition to the bedroom.

My husband and I searched every furniture store in our area for a leather platform bed, and we finally found this one online. We had seen a similar bed in Chicago for 3-4 times the cost. The separate pieces came in separate boxes so it was easy for me to carry inside myself, and assembly was really simple (about 4 steps). We're very happy with this bed. Our only complaint is we never actually slept on a platform bed, so it's a little less cushiony without the box spring, but now after a month we're used to it. It's also great because we have 2 kids under the age of 3, so it's low enough they can climb up, and soft and padded in case they fall!

The bed is lovely, it fits perfect..I loved the pricing and very happy with the customer service. The only thing I certainly did not like was the fact that the bed came in a damn box! And that I had to assemble myself, I ended up having to pay extra to have someone come out and assemble it. I strongly suggest that you put the words "Some Assembly" or "Assembly Required".....it's only fair to the customers. I can't think of the guys name on the phone I think it was Jeff, but either way he was GREAT GREAT GREAT at helping my purchase go much more smoothly after that. I did tell a bunch of my friends about your site and just hope that you guys really do something about that assembling yourself deal cause personally to me it's not fair if you don't have it in writing. Thanks a bunch.
